Hi, I’m Yufa.
My full name is Iurii Semeniuk, though many people know me as Yufa – a name I’ve been called since my school and university years. Over time, it simply became the name I use both personally and professionally.
What matters most to me is connecting with people and helping them move through their struggles by making simple, meaningful changes in their lives.
I’m a Certified Health Coach (IIN) based in Calgary, working with clients both locally and online.
My Story
I was born in Ukraine, and much of my childhood was spent on my family’s farm. We raised cows, pigs, goats, horses, and chickens, and worked in a large garden filled with fruit trees, berries, and vegetables.
Most of our daily life required hard manual work, and the food on our table came from what we grew and harvested ourselves.
At the time, I did not fully appreciate the beauty of that way of life. Farming required consistency, effort, and commitment, and was simply part of everyday life.
Still, it gave me something invaluable that I carry with me to this day: a deep sense of connection and love for nature, animals, forests, rivers, and most importantly, for people and family.
Only later did I begin to realize how quickly the natural is being replaced by the artificial.
This shift goes far beyond food. It touches how we live, communicate, and relate to one another.
In many ways, we are becoming more disconnected.
There are over 8 billion people in the world, yet people have never felt more alone.
Why I Became a Health Coach
I didn’t come to health coaching because I wanted to tell people what to do.
I came to it because I saw how many people already know what’s healthy – and still feel stuck, conflicted, or overwhelmed.
For a long time, I was one of them.
A Different Path
Later, my path took a very different direction.
In 2016, my family and I moved to Canada, and Calgary became our second home. From the very beginning, we fell in love with the beauty of this country and the warmth of its people.
Earlier, I spent years working in IT and studying physics at university. That experience trained me to think analytically, recognize patterns, and understand how systems work.
Over time, though, I also began to notice some of the common challenges of modern life in North America – things like high stress, work-life imbalance, consumerism, and the realities of today’s food environment.
Looking back, and witnessing all these changes, I see how deeply it shaped my understanding of the value of health, balance, and the connection between lifestyle and well-being.
How I Help
As a Certified Health Coach, my role is not to diagnose, treat, or prescribe.
My role is to listen, understand your reality, reflect, and support sustainable lifestyle change.
I work alongside you as a partner – helping you slow down, make sense of what’s happening in your life, and reconnect with what truly matters.
Our work together is simple and centered around you:
You decide what feels right for you - I’m here to support, not to tell you what to do
We focus on your habits, lifestyle, and what truly matters to you
We approach everything with curiosity - not judgment
We build changes that fit your real life, not some ideal version of it
I believe lasting change happens when people feel understood, not pressured.
There is nothing to fix – only patterns to understand.

My approach to health coaching
I take a whole-person approach to health. That means we may explore:
Lifestyle patterns and daily routines
Stress, energy levels, and sleep
What feels realistic for you right now

Food choices and gut health awareness
Priorities, values, and motivation
Mindset, self trust, and inner balance
You set the pace.
You decide what feels right.
My role is to ask thoughtful questions, help you see patterns, and support you in choosing next steps that feel achievable and meaningful.
An Invitation
If you’re feeling stuck, tired of trying to “do everything right,” or simply want space to think clearly about your health, I invite you to start with a conversation.
There’s no pressure.
No fixing.
No expectations.
Just a safe space to pause, reflect, and explore what support might look like for you.
